Questions & answers

How many Erasmus+ and ESC projects about sport & outdoor are open right now?

9 open projects focus on sport & outdoor: 2 youth exchanges, 1 training course and 6 ESC volunteering projects. The nearest deadline is 31 October 2026.

Who can join these projects?

It depends on the type: youth exchanges are for young people aged 13 to 30, training courses are for youth workers and others who work with young people, and ESC volunteering is for people aged 18 to 30. Each project page shows the age range and the eligible countries.

How much do these projects cost?

Youth exchanges and training courses are funded by Erasmus+: accommodation and food are usually provided, and travel costs are reimbursed up to a limit that depends on the distance. ESC volunteering is unpaid, but travel, accommodation, food and insurance are covered. Some organisations ask for a small fee; the infopack says if there is one.

How do I apply?

Open the project page, read the infopack and use the application link. You usually apply through the partner organisation in your country that is named in the infopack, and the organisers select the participants.
