Terms of Use
These Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the Erasmus Search Platform website and services. By using our platform, you agree to these Terms.
1. Acceptance of Terms
By creating an account, browsing, or otherwise using Erasmus Search Platform, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the service.
2. Description of Service
Erasmus Search Platform helps young people discover Erasmus+ Youth Exchange and related mobility opportunities, manage profiles and portfolios, and connect with accredited organizers. We are an intermediary platform; final project selection and participation decisions rest with project organizers and programme rules.
3. Eligibility
You must be at least 13 years old to use the platform. Users under 18 should use the service with parental or guardian awareness where required by local law. Organizers must represent legitimate organizations eligible to publish Erasmus+ opportunities.
4. User Accounts
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activity under your account. Notify us immediately of unauthorized access. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.
5. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Provide false, misleading, or fraudulent information;
- Harass, discriminate against, or harm other users;
- Upload malware, spam, or illegal content;
- Scrape, reverse engineer, or disrupt the platform;
- Infringe intellectual property or privacy rights of others;
- Use the service for unauthorized commercial solicitation.
6. User Content
You retain ownership of content you submit (photos, bios, applications, project listings). By posting content, you grant Erasmus Search Platform a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, display, and distribute that content solely to operate and promote the service. You represent that you have all necessary rights to the content you upload.
7. Intellectual Property
The Erasmus Search Platform name, logo, design, software, and original content are protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. Copyright © 2026 Erasmus Search Platform. All rights reserved. You may not copy, modify, or distribute our branding or code without written permission.
8. Third-Party Links and Services
The platform may link to external websites, EU programme resources, or organizer pages. We are not responsible for third-party content, policies, or practices.
9. Disclaimers
The service is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee project availability, selection outcomes, or uninterrupted access. Erasmus+ funding and participation are subject to official programme rules.
10. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Erasmus Search Platform shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the twelve months preceding the claim (or zero if the service is free).
11. Termination
You may stop using the platform at any time. We may suspend or terminate access for violations of these Terms, legal requirements, or operational necessity. Provisions that by nature should survive termination (IP, disclaimers, liability limits) will remain in effect.
12. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the European Union member state in which the platform operator is established, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Disputes shall be resolved in the competent courts of that jurisdiction, subject to mandatory consumer protection rules in your country of residence.
13. Intellectual Property Infringement
If you believe content on our platform infringes your copyright, trademark, or other intellectual property rights, please send a detailed notice to legal@finderasmus.eu including:
- Identification of the copyrighted work or IP right;
- URL or description of the infringing material;
- Your contact information;
- A statement of good-faith belief and accuracy under penalty of perjury;
- Your physical or electronic signature.
We will review and respond to valid infringement reports in accordance with applicable law (including EU copyright directives and, where relevant, the U.S. DMCA).
14. Changes to Terms
We may revise these Terms at any time. Updated Terms will be posted on this page with a revised date. Material changes may be communicated via the platform or email. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
